Hi Family,
Made it through Halloween, I went to Jen's for a family get together and got to see all the kid's costumes. As usual there was lots of yummy food. Jen is a good host.
For Grandma's 85th b-day Aunt Debbie and I made her and two of her friends lunch at Ashbys.
Mary Dufur and Iris Despain came and we all had a good time reminiscing.
Jen B and I and the kids went out to the church farm and gleaned apples. We were able to get some for eating and some for canning. We didn't get much canned this year but we did better than last year. It would be nice to fill all the jars.
Dan and I had a great time at the coast. It was just really relaxing and the only thing we planned was a trip to the IKEA store. We didn't use all our nights so we gave them to Aunt Susan and Lea and kids. Uncle Ika is doing great but he was in Seattle for a ball game.
I am at Jody's today 11-3-08. We raked leaves and went to town and got some supplies for Thanksgiving. I came over with Sean and Adam Cluff who just started with CTS.
I am looking forward to the Holidays. I will miss my little daycare activities but am excited to do activities with the grandkids. Don't know if Dad will get home for either holiday so we'll just plan ahead.
Whip's preschool has ask me to come help when ever I would like to. Might be fun.
I am getting vibes from Elijah again and went to a Family History Conf. in Nampa. Things has changed so much and I have a lot of catching up to do in the computer dept. It's very exciting to see what is available on line. Many years ago we were told the computer was invented for Family History and Temple work. I can see it happening now.
Haven't seen the skunks for a while but Cassie is still inviting the neighborhood for dinner.
Thanks to Jen B and family for feeding her while I'm gone.
This year for Christmas please keep it simple to other family members. None of us are in great need of anything. We will be centering around food storage and emergency preparedness.
There are Pandemic rumors and we need to be prepared for at least 3 months to take care of our families.
We love you and pray for you daily love mom

Hi-
I came across your blog when I was googling food storage and yours came up since you mentioned it in your post.

If you ever want any food storage tips, or recipes that use only food storage food, feel free to check out our blog.

You also mentioned that this Christmas you will be focusing on food storage and emergency prep. That's a great idea; in fact, this Wednesday we will be posting an article on our blog about that very topic, and we will be listing food storage/emergency prep gift ideas for all budgets.

Feel free to check us out, and good luck!
